Apple has seeded the first betas of its upcoming tvOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 operating systems to developers for testing. The new betas come just a few days after tvOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27.2 were released to the public.
Registered developers can install the betas from the Software Update section of the Settings app on each device.
Apple skipped the 27.1 version of the three operating systems, going directly to 27.2, to keep the new versions in sync with the iOS 27.2 beta that was also released today. We explain why Apple skipped iOS 27.1 here.
At the time of this writing, there’s no word on what’s being added in tvOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2. As new features are discovered, we will update this article.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Apple TV, Apple Watch or Vision Pro. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
