Next MacBooks Could Feature Surround Sound Speaker System

Apple have some filed some awesome looking new patents which show a potential Macbook Pro with surround sound speakers, Patently Apple reports. It would combine audio transducers and multiple speakers to enable the surround sound and potentially compete with notebooks offering Beats Audio.

A possible way the speakers would work together would be that they all handle different frequencies. The ones next to the display would handle high range, the lower speakers mid range, and the audio transducer low range.

Apple’s Macbook speakers aren’t the best, so an arrangement like this would definitely be a huge improvement.
