Oxford University Develops iPad Controlled Self-Driving Car

The iPad can do a lot of things, especially if you connect it with any of the many connected accessories available for iOS devices – but did you know the iPad can even control a self-driving car? Researchers ar Oxford University have modified a Nissan Leaf electric car, adding in equipment to enable the car to be self driving – and the brains behind the smart car is none other than the iPad!

Adobe product manager Tom Hogarty has shown off the company’s concept for Lightroom-style photo editing on the iPad. The app would rely on cloud-based connections to serve as a companion app to the full Lightroom software, but offer a number of higher-end features for on-the-go photo editing.

That said, I don’t want a crazy huge case, it would complete defeat the purpose of having a Mini. Apple has dropped prices on 2nd and 3rd generation models of the popular tablets. You might want to pick up a refurbished current generation iPod nano too, they’ve made those available for the first time also.

New Reports of iPhone 5S Delays Due to Fingerprint Sensor Issues

It was reported earlier this month that KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that various production issues will cause a delay in the debuts of Apple’s iPhone 5S, lower-cost iPhone, and second-generation iPad mini. A report from Reuters today backs up that claim.
