Apple Live Stream is a Go for September 9th Event

Apple has confirmed that it will be live streaming its event, scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th. Viewing of the Apple live stream will require Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Kuo: Next-Generation iPad Air to Debut at Sept. 9 Event

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo continues to spout predictions for Apple’s September 9th event. He says the company may debut a next-generation iPad Air at the shindig, and expects it to sport a Touch ID sensor, an anti-reflective screen coating, a full-lamination touch panel, and more.

Kuo: 128GB, But No Sapphire Screen Cover for iPhone 6

Well-connected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple’s next-generation iPhone will not boast an ultra-durable sapphire screen cover, however both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions will gain a larger storage option of 128GB. The new handsets will also include a barometric pressure sensor, and a programmable power button.

Another day, another Digitimes rumor. This time the rumor covers the iPad Air 2. The publication, citing the ever popular “sources close to production,” says while the device will remain the same in respect to size and resolution, it will be thinner, will boast a faster processor, and will include a Touch ID sensor that is improved over the current iPhone 5s-only sensor.
