A few days ago, we reported that AT&T was showing zero stock of the black iPhone 4, and today, Verizon’s site is making a scene about promoting “pre-owned” Verizon iPhone 4′s. While a simple look reveals that they still have new iPhone 4′s in stock, still, it’s difficult not to become suspicious.

A quick visit to AT&T iPhone page reflects that, while white iPhone 4′s and refurbished black iPhone 4′s are available, they are entirely out of both the 16 and 32GB models of the iPhone 4, leading many to wonder if the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 could be WWDC’s “One More Thing.”

For further proof that Americans are getting screwed by lack of competition in the mobile devices market, look no further than British carrier Orange Mobile. The wireless phone provider is now offering both an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 for £99.

Here’s another iPhone 5 rumor for you to get excited by. Late July or early August could see the release of the 5th generation of Apple’s iPhone. That’s according to mac blog Macotakara who cite the not so reliable “anonymous source” as their source.

It’s the tit for tat reaction we all expected after a Judge awarded Apple access to view a selection of Samsung’s upcoming SmartPhone and Tablet devices. Samsung filed a motion on Friday night requesting Apple to grant them access to the upcoming iPhone 5 and iPad 3 in an effort to determine who is copying whom.

MacRumors is reporting that the iPhone 3GS might not be supported by the upcoming iOS 5.0 update. This move is not unprecedented – the iPhone 3G and original iPhone were left out of the 4.0 software update as well.

Judge Lucy Koh, who is officiating the legal tug of war between Apple & Samsung, has dropped the hammer on Samsung and dealt the Korean electronics a bit of blow. Samsung have been ordered to bring Apple behind closed doors and show the iPhone / iPad maker a total of 5 soon to be released Samsung SmartPhones / Tablets.

Yesterday an AT&T rep reportedly walked into a Jamba Juice store, and told one of the workers that the next iPhone would be released in October. A tweet by @halolordkiller2 spells out the story, which interestingly coincides with many sources indicating a fall release.

The idea of a 64GB iPhone is not at all new, but releasing one now, with so little time remaining for the iPhone 4, seems odd. Nevertheless, an internal memo from Verizon is now indicating that an iPhone 4 with 64GB of storage may be on the way.

According to DigiTimes, the next generation of iPhone will feature a curved glass top as part of its display. This approach should welcome in a edge to edge display and a larger screen for future iPhone users.
