New Startup Wants You To Buy ‘Clothing’ For Your Apple Gear

The iPad already looks pretty amazing…but would it look even better if it were wearing the right shirt? A new startup company called Computer Apparel thinks so, and aims to sell padded cases for the iPad, MacBook Pro and other devices that resemble folded-up clothing.

Computer Apparel’s offerings are indeed stylish, but there’s more to these cases than meets the eye. The new cases not only resemble clothing, but function like clothing as well, featuring sleeves and pockets that look and function like the pockets on actual clothing would. The cases are also machine washable like real clothing.

This is by far one of the most creative case ideas I have seen so far, and could actually serve the very useful purpose of disguising your MacBook or iPad as clothing, deterring potential thieves from stealing your expensive gear.

Computer Apparel’s offerings start with their V-Neck computer sleeve at just $49.99, complete with a front “breast pocket,” as well as a larger picket around back. For more information, or to purchase, visit Computer Apparel on the web. They’ve also produced a clever commercial, which I have embedded below for your enjoyment.
