The Latest iMac Clones Are New Dells

Attack of the Clones isn’t just the title of the second Star Wars film. It’s also what’s happening in the technology industry. The latest company to ‘get inspired’ by Apple is Dell, which has launched three new all-in-one PCs, the XPS One 27, and the Inspiron One 23 and 20, PCWorld reports.

The XPS One 27 (above) features a 27 inch WLED display, a Core i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge processor, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and of course Windows 7. Priced at $1,400, it’s definitely worth it for a design you won’t find anywhere else.

Also with a completely original and groundbreaking design, the Inspiron One (above) comes in 23 inches or 20 inches and has a i3, i5 or i7 processor with 2GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. The Inspiron One 23 and 20 will be priced at $750 and $530 respectively. All will be available online in Dell’s U.S store in the next few weeks.

What I find most amazing is that the companies who make products like this don’t even acknowledge the product they got the idea from. If you’re going to rip Apple off, at least do it with some dignity.
