Apple Now Offering Bonus for Adding iTunes Credit

Apple Now Offering Bonus for Adding iTunes Credit

You can often find iTunes gift cards on sale, generally discounted by third party vendors. What’s rare is Apple itself offering any kind of incentive for adding balance to your account.

An email sent out to a number of Apple customers today is promoting a bonus 10% when you add funds to your Apple ID.

The offer, valid through March 14, 2019, applies when adding funds between $1 and $200. The bonus can only be applied once, so the maximum “free credit ” you can get is $20 (by adding a balance of $200).

If you didn’t get the email, never fear! You can still take advantage of the offer. To claim your bonus 10%:

  1. Open Settings on your iOS device
  2. Scroll down to iTunes & App Store
  3. Tap your Apple ID at the top and choose “View Apple ID”
  4. Sign in (or use Touch ID/Face ID to log in)
  5. Select “Add Funds to Apple ID”
  6. Choose the amount to add (or select other) and hit next
  7. Use Touch ID or Face ID to confirm your purchase
