Apple today released the release candidate of macOS Sequoia 15.3 to developers for testing before the update is released to the public. The release candidate comes one week after the release of the third beta.
The developer build of macOS Sequoia 15.3 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences. Apple Intelligence features are available only on Macs powered by an M1 chip or higher.
The release notes for the macOS Sequoia 15.3 Release Candidate are as follows:
This update introduces Genmoji, powered by Apple Intelligence, and also includes other enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.
- Genmoji creation in Messages and other apps
- Calculator repeats the last mathematical operation when you click the equals sign again
- Easily manage settings for notification summaries from the Lock Screen (Mac with Apple silicon)
- Updated style for summarized notifications better distinguishes them from other notifications by using italicized text as well as the glyph (Mac with Apple silicon)
- Notification summaries for News & Entertainment apps are temporarily unavailable, and users who opt-in will see them again when the feature becomes available (Mac with Apple silicon)
Some features may not be available for all regions, or on all Apple devices.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas or release candidates on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
