Apple on Monday posted a new Apple Intelligence ad for the Clean Up feature in the iPhone’s Photos app, which allows users to quickly identify and remove unwanted objects from the background of a photo.
With Apple Intelligence, you can now remove distracting objects from your photos with the Clean Up tool.
In the video, a man flexes his muscles in front of a mirror, while a woman who appears to be his grandmother takes photos of him with an iPhone. Later, as the man swipes through the photos, he realizes that the woman is visible in the mirror in the background of the photos. After grimacing, he uses the Photos app’s Clean Up tool to remove her. The ad emphasizes the ease of using the feature. (Although in real-life, it tends not to work quite as well, at least in my experience.)
Clean Up is an Apple Intelligence feature, and only available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model.
