AppleInsider‘s Marko Zivkovic today posted what he says is a list of identifiers for the Mac models that we should see roll out over the next year or so.
While nothing is a real surprise on the list, it does provide a look at the upcoming new Macs we’ll see in the near future, including the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro. The new Macs likely to be released later this year will be powered by the M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips.
We’ll see MacBook Pro models in 2026 that are powered by M6, M6 Pro, and M6 Max chips. The new M6-powered MacBook Pros will be thinner and will use OLED displays, other than that, no major design changes re expected.
The list below offers a summary of the identifiers, and which upcoming Mac models that they likely correspond with:

Earlier this week, well-connected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said Apple has plans to launch a low-cost MacBook that is powered by an A18 Pro Chip.
In an extended post on X, Kuo said the 13-inch device will be powered by the A18 chip, marking the first time a Mac will be powered by an iPhone chip.
Kuo said the more affordable MacBook is expected to enter mass production in late 4Q25 or early 1Q26, with an approximately 13-inch display and powered by the A18 Pro processor. Potential casing colors include silver, blue, pink, and yellow.
