Apple Card users have a new benefit coming their way at Booking.com. Users will be automatically upgraded to Genius Level 2 after completing their first eligible booking car rental rather than the usual standard of five bookings within a two-year period.
Genius is Booking.com’s free loyalty program, and Level 2 unlocks a number of benefits including discounts of 10–15% on select stays and car rentals as well as free breakfast and/or room upgrades at select stays.
Booking.com has been a premier Apple Card partner for some time now, with users receiving enhanced 3% Daily Cash when booking stays and car rentals using Apple Card with Apple Pay, and users also receiving 2% in Booking.com Travel Credits.
Apple Card holders traditionally get 2% Daily Cash from Apple purchases. Apple Pay purchases earn Apple Card holders 2% cash back by default, with 1% cash back available for non-Apple Pay purchases.
In addition to Booking.com, several other merchants also offer special cash back rates for Apple Card users when using Apple Pay and the Apple Card for a purchase, including Ace Hardware, ChargePoint, Duane Reade, Exxon and Mobil gas stations, Nike, Uber, Uber Eats, and Walgreens.
