iOS 27 Notifications to Slide in From Left Side of Your iPhone Screen

iOS 27 Notifications to Slide in From Left Side of Your iPhone Screen

Bloomberg‘s Gurman today revealed another tidbit about Apple’s upcoming iOS 27: notifications will no longer slide in from the top of the screen instead, they will slide in from the left.

You’ll also be required to swipe down from the top-left corner of the screen to access the iOS 27 Notification Center. Swiping down on the Dynamic Island area will now display a new “Search or Ask” interface tied to the new and improved Siri. This change could be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and newer if the new interface requires an iPhone model with Apple Intelligence support.

Gurman also said Find My is getting a visual redesign, Clean Up in Photos will be improved, and the new OS will also include numerous underlying security improvements.

Apple is expected to unveil iOS 27 during Monday’s WWDC26 keynote address, with the first developer beta being mad available later that same day. July will likely see the release of a public beta, and the new operating system will likely be released to the public in September, following the debut of the new iPhone lineup.
